the white rose by Robert K. Elder

P1 Creative Intro
The white rose by Roberts K. Elder. The theme in this article is about how you should stand up and kinda fight the power. The reason for this is because in this time period that this article is based on it takes places when the Nazis tried to invade the whole world and how Hitler and the Nazis tried to make Germany proud by what their actions are doing to the world.

P2 SUM
In the article from Upfront Magazine it was about world war 2. In this article made me relies that the Nazi have the power over the whole world in that time period, and the people were not the Nazis or german had the resistance. I say this because Hitler leaded the Nazis so then he would have most of the power because he controlled the Nazi soldiers and they had some of the power, and the people who were German had a little of the power because they did nothing but become bigger and bigger as a nation because the Nazis and Hitler were giving them that power that they needed to get to become bigger and bigger know. The people are the resistance were called "sub humans" because Hitler did not of people who were non- Aryans so then that is why he called people "sub humans" and being attack because Hitler wanted people to be proud of Germany, so the making he had to kill people so then Germany can be a proud country.

P3 AUTHOR CRAFT
In the article the Mr. Elder craft was that he first open up with these two kids that tried to make an anti Nazi resistance group and they tried to resistance the Nazis, but when the Nazis found out they were killed. The second craft move was that Mr. Elder jump into Hitler's plans and then he talks about why Hitler wanted to do this and what he wanted to gain from it. The third craft move by Mr. Elder was that he then jump back to the people (also know as the resistance) and how they had a voice and had some factual evince about how the Europeans in Europe won the war against the Nazis but then were killed because people thought that they were telling lies. The last craft move by Mr. Elder is that he shows evidence for his story, like he give pictures and to show that it really happen and fun facts about some things.

P4 MY RESPONSE
This article really made me feel like how it was to have resistance and how it feels to have the power. The reason for why I feel like the article made me feel like how it felt like to have the resistance because Mr.Elder wanted for you to feel like that person so then you can not really relate but feel like for how they felt like. I say this because the people who did not believe them wanted to kill them and i feel like they were angry that no one would actually listen to them and they have to say. The reason why i say "how it feels like to have the power", because Mr. Elder wanted for you (the reader) to feel like how it is to have the power to kinds take over the land, because the Nazis were just killing people like flies  because some people did not even know what was coming their way and I relate to how killing them like flies because sometimes i feel like the fly does not even know it is going to be hit it just happens by surprise and i think that is the people felt when the Nazis came to kill them.

Mona Lisa

The Mona Lisa:    Words can't even describe how statuesque and pulchritudinous the Mona Lisa looks like. Leonardo is one of the best painters in the history because of his amazing painting of the Mona Lisa. The amazing Leonardo da Vinci began to paint the Mona Lisa on 1503 and ended in 1506 in Florence Italy. In the painting of the Mona Lisa did make some changes to the painting of the Mona Lisa. The changes that he made was that he did not add that she was married so then he just did not added it to the picture or just not make visible to the human eye. Also in the picture in the Mona Lisa you can also see that Mona had no eye sight of visible eye lashes or visible eye brows.
In the famous and alluring painting in the background of the painting was one of the  first paintings to use imaginary background. you can also tell that the background is unrealistic because it uses a wave on the ocean and paintings like that will be needing for people or things to be perfectly still. The fame that brought the Mon Lisa is that she had poems written about her by famous like Theophile Gautier and Romantic. the other way how she got famous was that she had 2,000 advertisements and 300 paintings about her.
Fun Facts Leonardo de Vinci:The amazing painter who painted the amazing painting of the Mona Lisa was named Leonardo de Vinci. Leonardo de Vinci was April 15th 1452 Tuscan hill town Vinci. Leonardo real name was Lionardo di ser Piero da Vinci. At the age of 14 Leonardo was apprenticed by Verrocchio (a famous artist), and their workshop was one of the finest in Florence. Years later Leonardo is now one of the best painters back in his time period and still is now.

Synthesis page of the fox

In the book called Fox by Margret Wild and Ron Books. The story line was about two animal and they were a Dog and a bird called Magpie, and they were the best of friends. Until one time a Fox came and wanted to destroy their fun and enjoyment together, but when the Fox went to Magpie and Dog he was so blinded that he did not see that they were trying to help him. So then the Fox was still trying to destroy their friendship that he then whispers to Magpie because he knows that Magpie is weaker as in person to be gullible that he then tricks her to going to the desert so then she can never see dog again and be lonely forever because he wants to make the people feel how he felt.

Reading the world

Reading inquiry question "what are sings of pier pressure in your book".In this reading inquiry you will be learning about reading the world. to start off this inquiry about reading the world in this book called the hunger games by Suzanne Collins there is a girl named Katniss Everdeen and she is in this annual event that happens in North America and it is called The Hunger Games and this is the 74th year of the games (The Hunger Games is a battle to death of kids verses kids and there has to be one winner in the games) and Katniss sister named Prim Everdeen (Katniss sister) was chosen to participate in the games but as a good sister Katniss is she then volunteers as Prim tribute (that means that she has taken the place for Prim) so then Prim does not have to participate in the games. so then moments later in the book during the games Katniss have to kill people to win. in this one moment of the book Katniss encounters lots of people and sometimes in the game she is pier pressure to kill people because in one part of the book the people who run the games try to kill her because wasn't killing anybody and she was just sneaking around so then she won't die so then the government try to kill her by throwing fireballs at her. after that she then realizes that she has to kill people so then she won't die.

justice in pur books

the justice that I notice that was going on in my previous book called catching fire by Suzanne Collins and what I notice from that is in the book kids have to go against other kids for people entertainment and the justice part about this is that it teachers kids (who have a brain) that it is wrong because it teaches them to not kill other people for anyone entertainment and I also have evidence that it is wrong to kill because in the first book of the hunger games trilogy called the hunger games by Suzanne Collins it had a scene in a book that shows that katniss bumps into a girl and she and the girl just stars at her without combat or killing and I think that is a good showing that they should've only fought if the girl was going against katniss so I think that is a good idea of why kids should not fight just because they want to I think they should fight just for self-defense

Reading Reasponse

My main idea in this article that I want you know is that parents and people these days are being stupid when it comes to the kind of books their child is reading. Reason why I say "stupid when it comes to the kind of books their child is reading" is because I read these articles about book banning in my school of Middle School 51 William Alexander by favorite ELA teacher Mrs. Warren gave us some passages to read about banned books and I read one about captain underpants and I just wanted to explode, yes explode with rage and I just felt angry when I read it because in my head I was like why would they ban the most juvenile book in the world.
While I was reading there were some craft moves in the article that I have read named glen Ellyn D14 "perks of being a wallflower" from school shelves created in may 13, 2013, the author was Quan Troug, Chicago tribune reporter the quote then states other passage  "they're young adult and we can't keep in a bubble. If they want to keep their kids in a bubble that that's fine, but they shouldn't be telling me what to do" said a parent named Ann Blyth. My response to this is that she is right I think that 11 and up should be able to read books that are appropriate for them. The craft move that was in this article was that the first page had a lot of paragraph and facts why it was banned but then when to the second page there was hardly any facts short paragraphs hardly any quotes that I can use in this summary.
I agree with the article Glen Ellyn D14 "perks of being a wallflower"  from school shelves the person who I agree with is Ann Blyth because it is not her choice to tell the kids what books to read and what books not to read because it is their choice for what books is age appropriate for them. so in conclusion I think that the parents of these kids are over reacting and being too overprotecting to their children because they are force feeding them by saying you can't read this book because they use a curse word like fuck and other words. You just read a summary of articles that I have read and I hope I get a 90 or above.

DRAFT
Matthew Roberts      ELA       Mrs. Warren   803 perks of being a  wallflower

Infinite

"when the music then ended I then said that "I feel infinite" Sam and Patrick then looked at me like that was like it was the greatest thing they ever heard."

the time when I felt infinite was when I listing to this band called smashing pumpkins and the song was ava adore the lyrics that made me feel infinite was when the main singer named Billy said that ''we must never feel alone" and that part hit me in the heart because sometimes I feel alone I just listed I felt better because I then felt like I was not the only one going through this tough time.

there were one  more time when I felt like when I heard this song by the same band called today by smashing pumpkins and the part that made me felt infinite was when Billy said "today is the greatest day I ever known can't wait for tomorrow" the reason why I like this part is because he had suicidal thoughts and he wrote all of his feelings into his songs, and sometimes when I get frustrated I would just play music and be calm

there was this one time when I felt infinite when yesterday on September 30th when the teacher Mrs. Warren read the book "one" and it was about this blue dot and how he was being bullied by this other dot named red and while the other colors try to stand up for red he just became bigger and bigger by everyone's low self-est steam, but then there was this other letter named 1 but 1 was not afraid of red and all of the other dots became a  number and were not afraid of red and red became weaker. there was a moment when I was a 1 because one of my friends was being bullied  and when I became that one I felt infinite, like I can't be pushed around anymore.

Infinite

“When the music ended I then said that “I feel infinite” Sam and Patrick then looked at me like that was the greatest thing they ever heard”

There were times when I felt infinite. The time when I felt that way was when my older brother let me listened to this song called Ava adore and the part that really hit my beating heart was when the singer named Billy said we must never feel alone” and in that moment I felt like the whole world just stopped and in that moment I felt like nothing bad could happen to me. The reason why I say this is because it makes me feel like I have someone right beside me who will never make me feel alone.

the other moment where I felt infinite was when I listening to this song by the same singer named Billy was a song called today by smashing pumpkins and the line that made me feel infinite was when he said "today is the greatest day I ever known can't wait for tomorrow" the reason why I say this is the best line in whole song because the day that I was having wasn't the best day ever but when I listened to this song it made my day and my day just apparently gotten better because of that song.

the last time when I felt infinite was when I was reading this book called where the sidewalk ends over the summer and that book made me realize how good this book was because when I was little all I did was look for the shortest poem or just look at the picture and laugh at it but then when I read the book it made me think of my childhood and in that moment I felt like I was 5 years old and then I felt infinite because then it made realize that this book ha some of my childhood memories.
